Under 17’s Driving Lessons Cornwall
Come and join the fun at Perranporth Airfield in Cornwall. Our Under 17’s driving days are open to anyone aged 12+ that meet the minimum height of 4ft 8ins. Each pupil will get a full 60 minuets behind the wheel of one of our dual controlled driving school cars on a one to one basis with one of our specialist driving instructors.
At your driving session you will learn the controls of the car and how to set yourself up ready to drive. You will then practice moving off and stopping using your clutch, brake and accelerator. As you progress we have approximately 2 miles of driving roads for you to learn how to change gear and control the car through turns and bends in the road along with negotiating a couple of roandabouts along the way.
The more sessions you do the more you will progress and by the end of your 2nd session you will learn how to control the car in reverse and perform an emergency stop under full control as well as basic manoeuvres like turn in the road and left reverse.
We even have a a few cars setup for some parallel parking practice when your ready.
Most importantly while learning all of the above you will be having the time of your life driving a real car around our driving course.
