Car and Trailer Towing Lessons

Car and Trailer Towing Tuition is now available in Shaftesbury and the surrounding areas. If you passed your driving test after January 1st 1997 then you will need an additional category (B+E) added to your driving licence in order to tow larger car and trailer combinations over 750kg.

A perfect example of this could be a larger caravan or horse box which will take you over your permitted 750kg towing weight. If you are caught without the necessary category on your driving licence for towing a larger trailer then you can end up with a large fine and your car insurance could be invalid.

Here at 2nd2None Driving School we can help you stay safe and within the law by helping you gain the necessary category (B+E) on your drivers licence. Our driving instructors have years of experience behind them teaching B+E to car drivers of all ages and experience.

For the driving test you will be expected to drive at a high standard for approximately 60 minuets and perform a reversing exercise with the trailer. You will also have to demonstrate how you detach and reattach the trailer to the towing vehicle and answer several safety questions about the car and trailer.

We will help you prepare for the driving test and make sure your driving and reversing is at the required standard to pass the driving test with ease.
